Today a friend said that Satan uses our love for others against us. As a wife and mother, sister, daughter, friend I can definitely attest to the truth of this statement. It's so easy to get sucked into all kinds of stuff when we're dealing with a loved one. For me, that's when it's easiest to buy into a string of lies about myself from the enemy, too.
He also pointed out that Jesus was sacrificed on a cross because of his love for us. That cross wouldn't have been in his path for any other reason. He could have avoided it altogether. Coincidence?
I don't think so.
